Privacy Policy — Fake Call (이놈아저씨)

Applies to: the Android and iOS application “Fake Call (이놈아저씨)”

The short version.

Everything you create in this app — character names, photos, recorded voices, call recordings and call history — stays on your device. None of it is sent to Appl.GongBang, and we can neither store nor read it. There is no sign-up and no account.

What does leave the device is anonymous usage statistics, advertising, and downloading new characters. Each is described below.

1. Information kept only on your device

The following is stored in storage that only this app can access. It is never transmitted, including to us.

It is kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app, and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

2. Information that leaves the device

2-1. Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics)

We collect anonymous statistics to understand which features are actually used.

No identifier for a person is assigned. We do not set a user ID.
Character names you type, your photos, and the filenames of your recordings are not transmitted. A custom character is counted only under a fixed label.
Examples of what is sent: call start and end, call duration in seconds, screen navigation, settings values you choose, whether an ad was watched, coin changes, recording playback counts.

2-2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

One rewarded ad format is offered as a way to top up coins. It plays only when you choose to watch it; no advertising interrupts normal use.

Ad requests from this app carry a child-directed treatment signal and a content rating limit of G. Under this configuration, personalised (interest-based) advertising is not served.

2-3. Character downloads

When new characters become available the app downloads them from a distribution address operated by Appl.GongBang. This is download only; nothing is uploaded from your device. Downloaded files are integrity-checked before being stored.

2-4. Information conveyed by the connection itself

When the above connections are made, the IP address of your device, the device type and the operating system version may be conveyed to the respective service providers. This is inherent to internet communication; Appl.GongBang does not separately collect or retain it.

Declining a permission only disables that feature; the rest of the app continues to work. Granted permissions can be withdrawn at any time in your operating system settings.

5. Children and privacy

This app is designed on the assumption that children will use it. Accordingly:

There is no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for a name, date of birth, contact details or address.
No persistent identifier for a user is assigned.
Advertising is configured as child-directed, so no personalised advertising is served, and ad content is limited to a general audience rating.
Photos and voices are created by a guardian on the device and remain on the device.
There is no chat, messaging or location sharing between users.

6. Retention and deletion

On-device information is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app, at which point it is removed from the device.
Anonymous statistics are aggregated in a form that does not identify an individual, and are handled according to Google Analytics retention settings.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

Because the data of this app lives on your device, deleting it yourself removes it immediately.

Appl.GongBang holds no personal information about users, so there is no record for us to disclose or correct. Questions about this policy can be sent to the address in section 9.

8. Security measures

Not collecting data on a server is the first measure. What is never collected cannot leak.
On-device files are placed in storage private to this app, inaccessible to other apps.
Downloads are transferred over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and integrity-checked before storage.
Re-downloadable content is excluded from automatic backup so it is not copied unnecessarily.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the change and its effective date will be posted on this page. Changes that materially affect your rights will also be announced inside the app.

11. Language

The Korean language version of this policy is authoritative. Versions in other languages are translations provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the Korean version governs. The Korean version is at yinom.applgongbang.com/privacy.
